A bandana is the easiest way to dress up a dog — tied in seconds, worn all day, and guaranteed to get comments on every walk. Ours are double-sided (the same fabric on both sides), so the look holds no matter how it sits. Lightweight enough for daily wear, sturdy enough to wash and wear again.

There's no wrong way to wear a Tinka & Co bandana. Three ways to tie it:

The Cowboy (most popular)

Fold down the top corner to your desired length — tip at chest height or wherever you prefer. Hide the fold for a cleaner look or leave it visible for more volume. Tie at the back of the neck.

The Collar

Start at the pointed end and roll up from the tip. Tie around the neck so the knot sits underneath, then fold the ends under and tuck into the collar. You should fit two fingers comfortably between the bandana and your dog's neck.

The Cape

Fold down to your desired length, wrap around the neck and tie a sailor knot — cross one end over the other and pull up to form the knot. Adjust so it sits evenly across the chest.

Tip: all three styles work at any size — fold the bandana up from the tip to shorten it for smaller dogs.

Made from carefully chosen fabric — soft, lightweight, and built to wash well. The same fabric is used on both sides so the bandana looks intentional from every angle.

Note: Dapper Edit bandanas use a wool-blend fabric — lay flat to dry rather than hanging, to maintain shape.

• How do I choose the right size?

Measure your dog’s neck and allow enough room for two fingers to fit comfortably. If you’re between sizes, we recommend sizing up or choosing a button option for flexibility. 

• Are they reversible?

Many of our bandanas are reversible. Some feature the same print on both sides, while our designer range often includes two designs in one—see product details for each style.

• How do I care for my bandana?

Machine washable on a gentle cycle. For best results, avoid spot cleaning and reshape while damp. Do not tumble dry.

• Do they stay on?

Yes—designed to stay secure and comfortable with tie or button options. As with all dog accessories, we recommend supervised wear.
