Measure around the widest part of your dog's head, including the ears, as if you were pulling the snood on. Keep the tape snug but not tight — this measurement matters more than weight or breed alone.

Size Head + Ears Best For
S 28–34 cm Toy Poodles, small puppies (incl. Cavalier puppies)
M 35–45 cm

Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Cavoodles, Cocker Spaniels. A snug favourite with Cavalier owners; size up for more ear room.
L 45–55 cm

Cocker Spaniels, English Springer Spaniels, Irish Water Spaniels
