How it fits
Our snoods are designed to stretch gently over your dog's ears and sit securely behind them — keeping ears held back without feeling restrictive. The snood should feel snug but comfortable. Your dog should be able to open their mouth, pant, and move freely.
If your dog is between sizes, size up for more ear room — or size down for a closer, more secure fit. Both are valid depending on your dog and how you plan to use it.

Cotton version:
Made from soft, lightweight, breathable cotton — chosen for comfort during daily wear. The fabric stretches gently to fit and holds its shape wash after wash.
Care instructions: — Machine washable on a gentle cold cycle — Do not tumble dry or iron — Lay flat to dry — Spot clean between washes to maintain shape and colour
Waterproof version:
Made from waterproof drill fabric — soft on the outside, water-resistant where it counts. Designed to keep ears dry without feeling stiff or uncomfortable.
Care instructions: — Hand wash or gentle cold cycle — Do not tumble dry or iron — Hang or lay flat to dry — Wipe clean with a damp cloth for quick cleaning between washes
Frequently Asked Questions
- Will this actually stay on?
Yes—when sized correctly, it sits snug and stays in place.
For the best fit, keep the logo at the top of your dog’s head (this is the front). If your dog is a bit like Vincent, tucking the ears into the back elastic can help keep everything secure.
- How do I measure?
Our snoods are designed to stretch gently over your dog’s ears and sit just above them at the top of the head, with the back resting comfortably around the neck—keeping ears clean without feeling restrictive.
STEP 1 — Measure Around the Head (Most Important)
Using a soft tape measure:
• Measure around the widest part of your dog’s head
• Include the ears (as if pulling the snood on)
• Keep the tape snug, not tight
👉 This ensures the snood fits comfortably over the ears.
STEP 2 — Check the Length
• Measure from just above the ears (top of the head)
• Down to where you’d like the snood to sit (usually mid-neck)
Dogs with longer or fuller ears may prefer sizing up.

- What if it feels tight?
It should stretch comfortably over the ears. If unsure, size up. Eg. a Cocker can fit a medium, however their ears will be much more comfortable in a large.
- When should I use it?
Mealtimes, rainy walks, grooming, bath time.
- Will my dog tolerate it?
Most dogs adjust quickly—it’s soft, lightweight, and non-restrictive.
