Snood Size Guide — Designed for Comfort

Our snoods are handmade to stretch gently over your dog's ears and sit securely behind them — keeping ears clean and tidy without ever feeling restrictive.

Finding the right size takes about thirty seconds.

How to Measure

Wrap a soft tape measure around the widest part of your dog's head, going over the ears as if you were slipping the snood on. Keep it snug, not tight.

That's it — this one measurement matters more than weight or breed.

Tip: No tape measure? Use a piece of string and measure it against a ruler.

Between Sizes? That's Your Fit Preference

No two spaniels are quite the same — some are simply bigger than others, and coats vary from a neat puppy cut to gloriously full. That's why some breeds, Cocker Spaniels especially, fit beautifully in two sizes:

• Choose your measured size for a tailored, secure fit. Ideal for trimmed coats and everyday wear.
• Size up for a relaxed fit with extra room — perfect for full coats, longer ears, and dogs who like a softer feel.

Plenty of our Cocker Spaniel customers wear a Medium, and plenty wear a Large — and both tell us they love the fit. There's no wrong answer, just the fit that suits your dog best.

A Tip for Long Ears

If your dog's ears sit longer than the snood, simply tuck the bottom edge of the snood inward and up. This creates a neat cuff that holds everything securely in place — especially handy for dogs who like to try shaking it off.

What to Expect

The snood will stretch comfortably over the ears and should feel secure, never tight. Each one is handmade, so slight variations in size may occur.
